Shirley E. Lyons: age 90: of West Street, Elkhorn, WI. died suddenly on Tues., July 27, 2010. Shirley was born on February 22, 1920 to George and Emma (nee Brandt) Yost in Hudson, WI. She married the love of her life Russell S. Lyons in October of 1942 at the Methodist Church in Elkhorn, WI. Shirley worked outside the home for many years, but she was ALWAYS there for her family. She is survived by her 3 sons: Dennis (Arlene), Kenneth (Grace) both of Elkhorn and David of Delavan, WI., her grandchildren: Eric (Stefanie), Marcus, Randy, Steve (Stacy) and Amy, her great-grandchildren: Owen, Nicholas and Tyler. She is further survived by other relatives and many great friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russell in 1991 and her brothers and sisters. Funeral services for Shirley will be held on Fri., July 30, 2010 at 12:00 (noon) at the Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Funeral Home (730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, WI) with Rev. James Kennedy officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Visitation for Shirley will be from 10:00AM until the time of services at the funeral home on Friday.
