Timothy A. Thelen

yeoldeundertaker@wi.rr.com Tim is originally from Minnesota (please, do not hold that against him). He did his undergraduate college work at Creighton University in Omaha, NE and at UWMilwaukee. He graduated from MATC with his degree in Funeral Service. Tim and his wife Kris have five children, Brandt, Alina, Patrick, Karsen and Micki. Tim enjoys baseball, family time and working with and in the community. He currently serves on the Workforce Development Committee for WFDA (Wisconsin Funeral Directors Association) and was a Leadership Board member with his old church and now a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. Before joining the Mealy-Haase-Derrick-Lockwood families, he owned his own funeral service company helping area funeral homes serve their client families.

As for Why Funeral Service? “The worst time in any family’s life is the death of a loved one. If I can assist a family through that trying time and make things just a little easier, that is how I want to serve my fellow man and be remembered. I find funeral service to be an extremely rewarding career and get the greatest feeling of accomplishment when helping a family through their grief.”
